pluginmaker.ai runs in your browser. Your finished plugins run in your DAW. Here is what you need.
Requires
- Mac
- macOS 11.3 (Big Sur) or newer, on Apple Silicon or Intel. The installer needs macOS 11.
- Windows
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit (x64). Windows on ARM isn't supported.

Your DAW
Compatible with most major DAWs including Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Reaper, Bitwig, and more.
Installer
You install your plugins with the pluginmaker.ai installer. It needs an internet connection to sign in. On Windows it asks for administrator rights.
In the browser
Use a current browser and an internet connection. The Sampler needs Chrome or Edge on a computer, because it opens a folder of your samples. Safari and Firefox can't do that.
Windows plugin windows
Plugin windows use Microsoft's WebView2 Runtime. It comes with Windows 11 and is already on nearly all Windows 10 PCs. If it is missing, you can get it from Microsoft.
